I just want to start by saying I'm not the kind of person who writes bad reviews of a place (read: I have NEVER written a review of a place at all). That being said, DO. NOT. GO. HERE. I have had 2 consecutively bad experiences here. First time in October, the lady cut my hair a lot shorter than I asked for and thinned it out SO much that it ended up looking weird and stringy. Overall not *terrible* or unlivable, but definitely not what I asked for. Fast-forward to today and after 4 months of no cut I decide to go in for a trim. Emphasis on TRIM. I told the woman (Ashley) specifically that I was growing it out and only wanted to take care of dead ends. She asked if I wanted layers, I told her a few LONG layers would be fine, but again I'm growing to out so nothing too crazy. I cant even describe to you how bad it looks. I would post pictures but I'm honestly too embarrassed. To give you an idea, I started with hair that rests on my shoulders and slightly shorter in the back (think very subtle inverted bob). She left the bottom layer of my hair the same length and now it awkwardly sticks out 2 inches longer than the first row of layers she gave me. On top of that, the layers themselves look like they were cut by a child. They are blunt and not blended whatsoever and they go halfway up my head. I can literally see different lengths of hair all over my head, some of which are so short they're higher than my ears. Thankfully she left my hair long enough in the front that I can sort of pull it back into a half pony (which is how I'm going to have to wear it for the next few months I guess) but I literally cried when I got home and looked at the back of my head (which I know sounds dramatic but that's literally how bad it is.) Like I said, I've never taken the time to write a bad review of a place but this is ridiculous. Please please save yourself and don't go here. Even when you are very clear about what you want they don't listen. Not worth it at all.

This is the absolute WORST place to get your hair cut. I have extremely thick curry hair. When I went in it touched the middle of my butt and I NEVER get my hair cut short. Well I gave the woman detailed instructions bc Iâ€™ve already had my hair messed up a few years before at this same place. She didnâ€™t do anything I asked. I asked for my hair to be cut to the middle of my back and it almost touches my shoulders, I asked for it to be layered and thinned bc thatâ€™s what I have to do with my hair when it gets done and she did neither. She had me facing away from the mirror, so I couldnâ€™t see what she was doing and she was more focused on telling me I was to young to have a child, asking personal questions regarding him, and getting done quickly than doing a good job. I ended up crying for two hours afterwards bc she seriously ruined my hair. Badly. She cut it in a straight line so it looked like a child did it and my hair is just one long poof instead of curly bc itâ€™s still too heavy considering the amount of hair she DIDNT thin.

Very satisfied with what I get here! The receptionist is friendly, and the stylist is very gentle and quick. Would recommend to anyone who wants a simple and casual haircut.
