I WENT ON SEPT 1, 2012 TO GET SOME KINKY TWIST, AND THE BRAIDS LOOKED BAD THE SAME DAY. A WEEK LATER THE BRAIDS WERE COMING OUT, AND MY REAL HAIR WAS STICKING OUT EVERY WHERE..... I WENT BACK TO THEM, AND THEY SAID THAT THEY WOULD FIX IT. I WAS SO UPSET I JUST DECIDED THAT I DIDN'T EVEN WANT THEM TO PUT THERE HANDS IN MY HEAD EVER AGAIN. THE PARTS WERE BIG IN MY HEAD, AND IT JUST DIDN'T LOOK LIKE GOOD QUALITY BRAIDING. I USE TO USE Salimatu African Hair Braiding A FEW YEARS AGO, AND I USE TO LIKE THEM, BUT THEY REALLY HAVE CHANGE..... WITH ALL THE AFRICAN BRAIDING SALONS ALL OVER...........PLEASE DON'T GO TO Salimatu African Hair Braiding !!!!! (IT'S SAD THAT THEY WANT TO CHARGE $180 FOR KINKY TWIST, AND THE BRAIDS LOOK LIKE A 5 YEAR OLD BEEN PLAYING IN YOUR HEAD) 2018 update new management and my goddess braida look great.

Went to get 3 feed in braids and they are ugly they don’t even look like braids and they are coming down already it hasn’t even been 24 hrs

I wish I could give zero stars that place was so nasty and my hair is so ugly ! The lady was so rude to me after I waited so long to even get started on my ugly cornrows!!! They use the same towel on every person I asked them not to touch me with it!! The first photo is of what I wanted the other two are what I got for $140😕

I had my hair braided and after being satisfied with the service I scheduled an appointment for my daughter for the following day at 8am. This woman scheduled 6 people for 8 am and then had the nerve to ask me if it was ok for her to stop my daughters hair to begin someone else!!! To which I stated NO. I went two doors down to have my eyebrows arched and when I returned she was braiding someone elses hair!?!?!? Then had the nerve to threaten to call the cops when I said I was leaving. I already told her that if she stopped I would leave. As sad s her situation is, it is not my problem or concern that she did not have anyone else their to help her braid. Talk about a lack of professionalism.

My daughter asked for two Goddess braids and after she braided them she begin to pile brown gel on her hair... Within one hour it was all caked up in her head. We will never ever go back and had the never to charge $55
