I just moved to the area and was looking for a great place to get a good quality haircut. Shameful confession: I'm a Super Cuts kind of lady, but I knew it was time to grow up and spend a little more for a better cut. I looked at the website and was drawn to the photo of the stylist Mariella. She seemed really friendly and approachable, so I called up and made an appointment. I've never had a better haircut. Mariella really took the time to explain to me how to take care of my hair, how to make the haircut last (she knew I was budget-conscious so she cuts hair so that it will grow out well and look good for months). She gave me an in-depth consultation on how to properly blow dry my hair, and even showed me in the mirror how she does it herself--the stylists always make it look so easy, then you go home and think "what the heck?" Not with Mariella. I had a great experience and would highly recommend The Loft Salon and Mariella. The salon itself is very nice but not pretentious, there were all types of folks there. Mariella was awesome, I'm looking forward to going back. Five stars all around!
