I saw Frances Sparks who claimed to be Devacurl certified. She gave me the worst haircut ever!!! The layers are choppy and in the back there's a big bite. She didn't even have the deva products to wash my hair with. I didn't mind that, but the cut is awful. DO NOT GO TO HER! Especially if you have curly hair she doesn't know how to work with it.

Oh my GOSH! This place is the best salon in Salinas! I went in with some gnarly dark roots, platinum ends and a bag of handmande extensions. I hadn't been to a salon since that place behind old town burned my scalp and over shaved the side of my head. FRANCE is AMAZING. She spent hour perfecting my roots, listened like a true friend would, and it was like having a friend do my hair(but one with MAD SKILLS) She even gave me a hard water treatment since I live in the sticks and our hard water brasses up my platinum...she gave me supermodel bangs, a style like 90's Heidi Klum style , EXACTLY like the photo I found. I was beyond impressed. To top it off, they were so awesome, that when my car battery wouldn't start, Frances herself got her own jumper cables, used her car and got me on the road. I could not have asked for better or more. This is the best experience I have EVER had in a salon, hands down. Frances is an angel, and a very skilled one! I will be back!!!!!
