We used the 20 minute call ahead and got right in with no wait. Assistant Mgr McKenzie cut my special-needs teenage son's hair, and was AWESOME! She treated him so well, and gave him the best haircut he's ever had. The cut looks like a typical teen! We will definitely go back!

Just returned from getting my hair cut here. Asked for 1/2" off and got scalped on the sides and the top is too long. There are stray missed hairs all over the side of my head and my side burns are uneven. I guess what can you expect for $22? Well, I expect a hair cutter to spend more than 5 minutes on my hair and to at least halfway care about what she does for a living. Basically, it seems like they act like they listen but then give you the same haircut they just gave the last poor guy. What separates this place is, you get to watch sports (to distract you from what's happening to your poor head?) but it seems like they penalize you if you don't order the MVP. I don't know what comes over me when I get a haircut. When I'm done, I never see how bad it is until I get home and look in the mirror - and it's a disaster. These churn and burn hair places are all the same (Supercuts, Fantastic Sam's and now Sport Clips). This San Marcos location used to be good but as a reviewer pointed out previously, the turnover changes all the time so you are rolling the dice as to who will cut/butcher your hair. By the way, I have a job interview tomorrow so this doubly sucks. I will not go back to any of these craptastic places again. You get what you pay for. NO ONE CAN GIVE A DECENT HAIR CUT IN 5 MINUTES!! Even with my hair that is so simple to cut. Do not go here.

I am disappointed yet compelled to write this review. This used to be an enjoyable experience for my husband. He could run over, get a decent cut, and be done. Over the last few months the service has declined and he will no longer be getting his hair cut here. The ladies that he used to trust to cut his hair are no longer there. The employees that are working there now underestimate the wait time, do not communicate with the waiting room full of people so that you never know if your next in line or fifth in line, and they take well over 30 minutes per cut. That would be fine for a salon, but this is a shop that caters to guys. Guys want to be in and out, not spend 2 hours waiting on a Sunday morning. They are understaffed for a weekend. It's too bad but if you are looking for a decent cut in a reasonable time, don't go here.

They messed up my boyfriend's haircut. They left a lot of long hairs on and a patch of hairs in one area, they also rounded one side of the back and squared the other one. They charged him 30$ for the haircut. He's never coming here again.
