Do not go here if you have curly hair or want belayage. Raquel does NOT listen. Horrible cut the opposite of what I asked for and terrible color. First time did deva cut since I have curly hair. Deva cut makes your hair really short. Cute cut but the layers are really uneven and they tangle because of that so it grows out terribly. Also you have to style it one way can’t wear it straight. So I grew it out for close to two years and tried cutting myself. It was still uneven. Since Raquel advertises herself as a curly hair specialist I decided to go back, but make it clear I didn’t want my hair short. And this is where I really had a bad experience. I asked her three times not to make my hair shorter. I told her to do what she could to even it out but above al else keep it as long as possible. As she was cutting I saw huge chunks fly off my head and asked her if she was making it shorter she said no. Then I got belayage highlights. As she was rinsing she sounded panicked and asked for multiple toners. After we were done my hair was about 4 inches shorter with terrible orange streaks at the roots. My hair used to be shoulder length now it’s just a little longer than chin length. See before and after photos. I told her I was not happy sinc I had been very clear about not wanting short hair.she became defensive and told me it wasn’t actually long to begin with it just looked long. Oh yeah AND it more uneven than ever! Then she charged me nearly$200. I called back to ask for a refund but she never refunded me.
