First and last time I will be going here. I decided to try this salon based off the reviews on here and have been growing my hair out for some time. I normally go to a barbershop, but I wanted to try a salon because they are more professional when it comes to cutting longer hair. Brian was the only person working there and he was the person who was cutting my hair. From the start he was rude and unprofessional, with no greeting or a smile. I immediately felt the vibe was off when I sat on the chair to get my hair cut and should have gotten up and left. I was too excited, because it’s been awhile since my last hair cut, but I still decided to give him a chance. Big mistake. He did not do a great job for a person cutting for 22 years and when I asked if he can part my hair in the middle, he rudely told me to go do it myself and handed me a comb. He even washed my hair, but did not dry it at the end and told me he couldn’t do it because “he didn’t feel like it.” Normally any barbershop or salon you go to they blowdry your hair at the end, for free, but this guy refused to and said he will charge me extra for making my hair dry. Unfortunately, I paid for the cut and had to walk out with my hair soaking wet, because he was refusing to dry my hair and asking me for an extra $15 just to dry my hair, when the price of the hair cut is only $24. Don't make the same mistake I did and go to a higher end salon, rather than going to this cheap salon. Not only will they treat you better, but you will get better quality service. I don’t know what this person’s problem was, but I do not recommend him or this salon at all and you will definitely be better off going to a different salon.

Look Bryan Is awesome all the women lady’s and girls and there’s a lot of us go to him he’s wonderful and does exactly what you ask him to do ,now we only cut and trim our all natural hair but he’s amazing !

Just come and ask for Bryan You will not be disappointed.This Salon is most likely the best spot in the city of Upland. I’ve bet coming for years, and I can tell Bryan definitely is the best!!!

I have never felt so beautiful before..I came in with virgin dark brown hair & asked for highlights and that’s exactly what I received. Lily did a fantastic job fitting me into her busy schedule so that I could get my dream hair done ✨I always get my haircut here which they always do an amazing job but this was my first time getting my hair dyed from here and she exceeded my expectations! I feel beautiful and it wouldn’t have been possible without the expertise & kindness of Upland haircut & salon ♥️ I have been here going since I was in grade school and I will continue to go here always 🙏🏼 I posted 2 pics of my highlights & 1 of my hair natural before I got my hair done, love love love it!

There's only one person that may not work there anymore that was very helpful and supportive services for curly hair. Before I ask an associate that I may not caught her name, but is female has a Latin accent I've asked her" if she cut curly hair ?"she said YES". In my opinion she didn't know what she was doing and made a tremendous mess of a haircut. I will be looking for a much more honest place to get a decent haircut for curly hair, this isn't a good place.
