Yadira is super sweet and her basement studio is very cozy. My teenage boy has had about 15 cuts from her over the past year and hes looked awesome every time. She takes her time and is very thorough, so Im sure the positive reviews are legit. The negative reviewer sounds very fussy to me, just saying...

I've been to this place several times . But no more then 3or 4.. First time got a nice haircut. Second was not bad either. Not "wow", and not bad. Couple last visits were not good. No shape was given. Just some messy layers. Last time I let her to cut a couple of inches thinking it will help to make a nice shape. Showed her a picture of my haircut from years ago as a reference. The result- uneven length, shorter to the middle. Right side longer with a missed area quarter inch sticking out. Bangs - cannot style them in any direction. Messy layers. Shape overall not even close to what wanted. Could happen with anybody. Maybe she was tired. . I came back to fix it. Explained the problem. She even did not make my hair wet to see it. Performed some gliding movements with the scissors. Nothing is fixed. Since my hair was trimmed short I have to wait couple months. Right now I can only have a ponytail and hide my bangs. I'm puzzled. All these nice reviews.... And I paid cash with tips...

Yadira, the owner, is spot on with her haircuts and the location and availability on Saturdays can't be beat for my schedule. She is a great hair stylist even for men. She is very attentive to detail and will make sure your cut is just the way you wanted it before you leave. Highly recommended!

Isabellas salon is a professional yet comfortable environment, where they know your name and make you feel at home. Yadira offers great service and very reasonable prices. I would highly recommend!
