While I was at Ulta the other day, I came to use a offer where you buy two ulta items and get two free? But while I was at checkout the lady didn’t even process the offer and I asked her about it and all she said was “yeah”? So I left Ulta spending more money than I was originally going to spend! Some of these employees don’t know what they’re doing!!!

Salon services for hair by Joanna is all that I can evaluate extensively. Joanna is a truly gifted stylist, who cuts, colors and is able to create a look that really suits the look you're going for. She has a wonderful imagination regarding what style would best make you look up to date, and is in sync with the looks you wear in your daily activities. She's gifted. Joanna is also a terrific make-up artist. Sitting weekly in her chair while she does my hair, our talks about my makeup applications and suitable products has changed my whole look for the better. I don't waste my money on any products without getting her approval first. Since I've met Joanna, I've never looked better!

I have been going to Ulta for the past 3 months for facials. I initially walked off the street and met Carmina. I told her how sensitive I was to products. She tested a bit behind my ear and was so helpful and kind I scheduled an appointment. I have been getting facials from her ever since. My skin is so much clearer now from when we began. I am so appreciative of her advice and her friendliness. Definitely worth stopping in and talking to her!

Don't even bother walking into this ULTA location in WATERBURY . First off , the security guard (lol Waterbury) standing at the entrance was the only person who even gazed in my direction and gave a greeting . For most of my visit, nobody bothered to assist me and As I gathered a few products and browsed I really wanted to try on a blush before I purchased it , so I needed a brush to try it out. One girl asked finally "are you finding everything did you need something ? " I replied to her "no I'm not, I just needed a brush real quick to try on a blush " and she replied " well we have sponges over there and we don't have any brushes around " then goes to hand me some sponges 😅....to try on a compressed blush product! To work at a beauty dpt store and hand me a sponge and walk away , that just proves the respect for their customers and the common sense smh Then another woman seen me pacing back and forth literally searching for a brush Anyone who shops here know they DO carry brushes for trying out products and goes to grab one for me .This a ridiculously embarrassing location to walk into and spend your money . I purchased my products ,said farewell to the security guard and I will never walk back in there . Do yourself a favor and go to another location possibly the one in plainville,CT not too far maybe 15- 20 min away much more pleasant experience there . This place doesn't even deserve a 1 star.

The most well-lit store I've ever been in. I had never been into an Ulta. I assumed it was, and is, female product intensive. But there is a good selection of male products and services. This place caters to all income brackets, if you want expensive, they have three, and also three cheaper alternatives. Product variety, salon services, and staff are all very good. A very nice addition to the starved Waterbury retail landscape.
