I got my hair cut by the newest stylist last week, Sarah. She was professional, funny and did a great job. I also can't complain about the neck massage during the hair wash ;). The location is convenient in downtown Sarasota without being in an area without adequate parking. The location off Fruitville has it's own little parking lot in the back with plenty of space. Scott also seemed very nice, funny and talented. Overall, I'd recommend trying this salon! I'm going back soon to get highlights because I loved my cut so much!

When Scott began cutting my hair about 10 years ago I experienced an excellent hair cut for the first time. I could actually go for a full four to five weeks and look well groomed the entire time. Up to that time my hair began looking too long on the sides in about two weeks. At this point I wouldn't go anywhere else. He is a wonderful stylist and according to my wife, gifted at coloring hair. He has a great personality, talking when appropriate, but not wearing you out with conversation if you just want to relax. As a man, I can go into his salon and not feel out of place. I recommend highly, without reservation.

I was just walking down Pineapple yesterday afternoon, and I stopped to peek into the window of this little jewel of a salon. Even though the salon was not open, Scott opened the door and graciously welcomed me into the salon so that I may take a peek. I also met Diana, a stylist, who was equally as accommodating and polite as Scott. Honestly, I have never had my hair colored or styled at this salon, but with the level of professionalism and courtesy I received, I will DEFINITELY be booking an appointment in the near future :)

I have been a client of Scott's on and off for over 8 years, as I have lived both in Florida and Massachusetts during this time. I have had nothing but incredible haircuts and color here at this salon. He listens carefully to what you want during the consultation and asks questions. Ultimately, if what you are asking is going to completely compromise the integrity of your hair, expect a strong opinion on what should be done to keep it healthy and beautiful. I completely respect that, as other stylists just do whatever you ask, even if it means your hair is going to break and fall off and/or out. His salon is relevant, with cool, chill music and a relaxed atmosphere. What I appreciate most is Scott always invests in keeping the staff well-trained and current with the trends and newest techniques, which I can tell you (having managed salons and known of many others in this business) is lacking in most salons because owners do not want to spend the time or money that it takes to continuously train their staff. I highly recommend this salon, especially if you are looking for trust, consistency and great maintenance longevity.

I went to Scott this past Spring because he was recommended by a friend. I needed a makeover and wanted to get 5+" cut off my hair. He listened to what I wanted, looked at the pictures I brought and gave me a great cut and color. I always get compliments on my hair now. It's a bit pricier than what I used to pay (because it is an Aveda Salon possibly) but I continue to go to maintain my cut and color because he really knows what he's doing- he's a very talented stylist.
