I was given a gift certificate for Artistic Expressions Hair Salon & since it's close, I've been wanting to try it out. I made an appt with Kim for a cut & blow dry/style. First off, when you walk in the bldg it smells amazing bcuz it's in the same bldg as Cotton Calf restaurant. I've never been there but based on the aroma, I'll be going soon! Kim was super friendly from the start. They have coffee/tea for you which is cool. She asks what you're wanting to do, then takes you back to the sinks. The shampoo/conditioners they use smell heavenly! Seriously, I would use that as perfume. I said that to Kim & she told me all their hair products are the same, all natural and they even have a room spray! I need that in my life! Anyway, she shampoos & conditions your hair and gives you like a scalp massage. There's no better feeling than having someone shampoo you hair and massage your scalp, I almost fell asleep! I need to win the lottery and hire someone to do that everyday! Next she cut, blew dry and styled my hair. I love it! I've seen signs in salons or on Pinterest that say "I'm a hairstylist not a magician!" Well I'm here to tell you that Kim D'Anna IS absolutely a magician! Hands down she is! I made an appt for highlights for the 27th of April with her bcuz I usually have very light blonde highlights. Will post pictures after that. There's nothing negative about this salon or about Kim. I take that back, at the moment there is a bit of road construction and building construction going on in the area. Obviously there isn't anything the salon can do about it so just be alert when driving in the area.
