Finding someone to do your hair and makeup on your wedding day is one of the most important tasks a bride has on her “To Do†List. I was super lucky that I did not have to look very hard for mine because I already work with them! As a wedding and portrait photographer, I have worked with so many hair and makeup artists in the past, and I can truly say these ladies are the BEST in the business!
I am super Type A and OCD, and I appreciate that Heather (who manages the office) always provides information to prep my clients for their appointment, answers all of their questions, and gets them excited about their hair and makeup experience. Although A Glamour Affair does provide services on site, their studio is fun to visit too!! Love the décor and atmosphere.
Kristin and Nisha are amazing!! These ladies make EVERY client feel confident and beautiful, not to mention they are SUPER talented! Some clients walk in knowing what they want, some clients don’t. Nisha and Kristin are amazing at recreating looks, or making suggestions. The most important thing to them is that the client LOVES their look! My clients walk into their studio not knowing Kristen and Nisha at all, and always leave giving hugs and huge smiles on their faces.
This year, it was my turn to be “A Glamour Affair†bride! I was so nervous! My future husband had one request about my hair and makeup…Don’t look fake! I don’t normally wear a lot of makeup, and I wanted something simple yet elegant for my hair. Once again, the ladies did not disappoint! My bridesmaids, flower girl, and I had such a fun and relaxing morning at the studio. When I left I, I was almost in tears. I could not believe how beautiful I looked! I kept walking past the mirror wondering who the woman in the mirror was! When we did our first look, my groom cried.
