After my son received the worst haircut in his entire life from Karen, I contacted the owner, Jamie Lynn, the next morning to ask for a refund. Jamie told me I would have to get it directly from Karen. I arrived about 1:15pm and my son refused to get out of the car because he was so embarrassed at how bad his hair looked. It was uneven, shaved on one side, long on the other, and left unblended. It looked like a bowl had been placed on his head at an angle and his hair cut around it. I asked Jamie to step outside to see his hair. She couldn't even believe how bad it was. Karen came outside and acted horribly. She stuffed the money into my hand and stormed inside. I had tried to explain to the owner that we had been there several times over the past 5 years and never had any complaints or problems. While we were talking, Karen stormed outside again and said, "Are we still talking about this? What the f*#% lady, it's just a flipping haircut." Then she stormed back inside. I told Jamie that Karen's behavior was unacceptable and cause for termination. Jamie made excuses for Karen's behavior and I told her at that time, we were done and would not be back.

P.S. The owner's response is a complete lie and a disgrace to McDonough Small Business owners. Jamilynn should also be aware that since she publicly posted lies (with several counts of mispellings) to cover for an employee's outlandish behavior, this may be considered by several legal counselors as libel and slander. I would urge her to tread lightly.
