I'm absolutely heartbroken over my hair after leaving the salon 5 days ago. I did my research via the salon website and carefully chose Georgia as my colorist, being that she is supposedly one of the most esteemed and experienced of the staff. I spent 7 hours in her chair and paid $380 after gratuity. I cry every time I look in the mirror or touch my hair. The degree of damage done is truly astounding and deeply disturbing. I couldn't have done a worse job myself with Clorox bleach. I was 100% honest with her about everything previously done to my hair... I had colored it black with loreal box dye twice in the last year. I never use heat, chemicals, or anything else to style my hair. I came to the salon with it in beautiful smooth and healthy condition needing only a color correction (light-medium brown). After being processed at this salon, my now orange & brass colored hair (which I have done the follow-up care for as instructed) looks as if I've been struck by lightning and feels like straw. The only thing I can think to do it cut it all off because it truly is beyond repair. I can't express how depressed I am... my baby shower for my first born child is in one week and I will now look like Frankenstein in all of the pictures of one of the most memorable milestone events of my life. If my experience is at all indicative of her body of work as a whole, her poor sweet intern is being tragically mislead. Georgia seems like a sweet person and I enjoyed talking with her, but my self esteem and faith in the so-called professionals this salon employs are both destroyed. I hate to generalize the whole establishment, but I wouldn't be able to sleep if I didn't tell somebody to rethink a visit here if I overheard them planning one. I've contemplated asking for a cut or conditioning treatment to help make up for some of the inconvenience my wallet and hair have been hit with, but I think I might be sick if I ever even pulled into the parking lot again. After reading other negative reviews, I am feeling especially disheartened since the only responses from the owner are defending the staff and justifying unsatisfactory work by saying clients haven't responded to phone calls or that there is no record of them in their database. I've never left a bad review or even asked to speak to a manager in my life, but this was too much to keep to myself.
