Despite of my rating of this place, I would like to mention that there is a stylist named Maria who has always been very kind and professional with me. However, today's haircut with Lora was certainly a very unpleasant experience. She seemed to have no specific attitude at first, but very quickly turned out to be quite rude and unprofessional. She scolded me for not immediately mentioning ALL the details about my haircut that she didn't even ask for. Also, even after I repeated multiple times that I want the hair on the top of my head to be of the same length, she still stated that she is cutting it differently, according to how it seemed to her my hair was cut previously. After I repeated it for the 4th or 5th time, she finally decided to honor my request. At one point Lora told me that she may decide to not finish my haircut if it takes too long, because she wants to go see her kids... That's not how it works... And it was a VERY simple haircut. Maria easily finishes it in under 15 minutes. My appointment was for 7:30pm, I came in at 7:32pm, and I clearly stated to her that I was 2 minutes late and apologized. However, for some reason, Lora found it necessary to berate me throughout the whole time haircut for the fact that she won't have enough time. Yes, somehow I was at fault that she is in a hurry to visit her kids at 8:30pm. Yes, I was 2 minutes late, but if a stylist can't finish a simple male haircut in 28 minutes, she shouldn't be a stylist. Lora kept glancing at the clock every 2-3 minutes, and an angry puff would come out every time she saw the time. She also told me I came in at 7:38pm, which is not true, so either she lied, or the clock is ahead. Neither is my problem. Take all this as you will. I certainly recommend Maria and discourage having your hair cut by Lora. P.S. Some of the other employees there have also been quite unprofessional with me before. Not to Lora's level, however, some stylists just always seem to be in a bad mood and make no effort of hiding it.
