I've shopped at Ulta occasionally since they opened this location. I went there today on my lunch hour prepared to spend $100-$200 on new products since I just started a new diet that requires oil-free everything. I needed someone to assist me, and I wandered around for 5 minutes, and no one even acknowledged me, much less offered to help me. The only acknowledgement I received at all was from the lady at the check-out counter who thanked me for coming in. Yes, I could have approached someone who worked there, but it appeared that each person was either tied up with makeup demonstrations or stocking shelves. I couldn't even find the mascara I've been using for years (Better Than Sex brand). I realize that I'm much older than their preferred demographic, but I do look like my profile picture, so I'm not in the grave yet (I'm 66 years old). For stores that wonder why everyone orders from Amazon, this is one reason. I'll just finish my Amazon order now.

I called before I went in to make sure I was able to get in and have my eyebrows done, told them I will be there in 15min. 15min exactly i walk in there is no one at the brow bar, so I go to the salon to see if they can do my eyebrows. They said the girl doing eyebrows is in the, "bathroom" I wait 15min, still no one available to do my eyebrows. I understand I was in my work out clothes, no make up, with a horrid pony tail, but I was ready to drop $300.00, just for my eyebrows and accessories. Nope 20 mins goes by, and I left. Guarentee if I would have gone in there with my nice clothes and done up, I would have be serviced. Don't judge people on there appearances, very shallow.

The last 3 times I’ve been to this particular Ulta there is a very limited staff and they seem more interested in chatting with them selves. This store is messy and disorganized with poorly stocked shelves. Also 2 different times I was recommended a product in the wrong color and had to come back to exchange it.

I’ve been in a few times when they were slammed with long lines and one person on the floor but they still handled it well and were super friendly. Since then, I haven’t seen it get as crazy busy and there are more than enough people to help out. I always get asked if I need help and when I do, they give amazing recommendations. Great experience every time I stop in!

I love Ulta! Their skin care collection is far more extensive than anywhere else in Spokane. I absolutely love that if I see something on Instagram I know I can go to Ulta and find it there.
