Patricia is our go to lady for the family hair cuts! My husband has been going to her for years! We always stop by when in town!

I love going to Patsy's to get my hair washed and straightened!! If you are in the area and looking for a hair stylist I definitely recommend this place. I use Patsy to do my hair however, both her and all her staff members are very friendly and always smiling! Nice environment with great conversation. Always pleased with my hair when I leave 😊

was not happy I showed her the picture of how i wanted my hair done but she went shorter than what I wanted I could have put a bowl on my head and got the same result as what she did

I went here because there were good reviews. However when I was done, I was completely unhappy with my haircut. I told her I wanted the absolute minimum cut off to even my hair out to all the same length (I had an a-line previously that had grown out), yet she cut off way more than necessary. I even prefaced that I was trying to grow my back out and that my husband also didn't want it short . Only about an inch needed to be cut off, yet she cut off close to 3 inches. Now my hair is much shorter than I wanted it and my husband who is out of town right now will not be happy when he see it cause I told him I was only taking about an inch off. I was very adamant about the very minimum being cut off. Not to mention the price for a haircut is outrageous. They include a shampoo in the price but don't have any prices signs to tell you that. Personally I think they should be split but it's not my shop so it's not my decision. It cost me to $23 to get a haircut I don't like. I definitely will not ever being going there ever again and would not recommend it to any one who asks for a place to get their hair cut.

I went in to get a perm, something simple not extravagant. The stylist who was doing my hair was polite and answered all my questions. The end result was what I was looking for, a little wave, subtle. I followed her instructions of not washing until 48 hours later. I washed with a non sulfate shampoo and conditioner. It seems to have not taken very well to my hair but I'm not really concerned about that. Its just hair. However. I will make a note about the environment at patsy's hair design. Pros: Family oriented environment. Floors are clean. Stations are tidy. Customers are greeted immediately upon entering the salon, and mostly do not have to wait long to be attended to. They even have a very large comfy couch for you to melt in. The overall attitude is light and homely. They also seem to work with children very well as one very unhappy boy getting his hair cut demonstrated. Additionally, it was easy to talk to my stylist. She was very personable and made me feel comfortable socially. Cons: The temperature was a bit cold, not good to have with many individuals with wet hair on their necks in the middle of November. The hours were sporadic,based on who comes first that day and who leaves last.The last, and most important, is a stylist had her three children there. She tried to get them to stay in the back but they always came out and climbed on chairs, and messed with products. It concerns me that they are near so many chemicals. I understand that the individual couldn't find a babysitter, but the decision to bring them to work has affected the business as a whole. Overall it is a good family friendly small town facility that I'd highly encourage taking your children to get their hair cut for a reasonable price. If you are going there for personal "me" time I don't think it is a good place for that. I may return their for the occasional hair cut or trim but beyond that there needs to be a bit more refinement done on the business as a whole.
