Sent a picture of how I wanted my style. I was told they could do it. I wanted a short Senegalese twist bob. When I got there she said my hair was too long for the style. So I asked if they could make it longer again I was told yes. Then halfway thru the style I noticed it wasn’t the style at all just regular twist so then they told me they couldn’t do a twist bob because it would unravel. So now I’m like well if I’m not getting the bob I don’t want short twist. So I ended up walking out with my hair Halfway done because they didn’t want to start over or didn’t offer to lower the price or anything. Also they started yelling at me like I was wrong because I wanted my hair a certain way, which they told me they could do. Very unprofessional. I don’t even do reviews that often but this was so unacceptable.

I would never recommend this place!!!!!!! The owner can’t braid hair very messy braids and uneven parts! Damage my 8 yrs old scalp and made her loose her edges on the left side of her hair from the worst lemonade braids ever done!!!!!! Refuse to give a refund because they make you pay before service. And the bathroom 🚽 don’t work !!!!!

In my search of looking for a braid salon, I read the reviews. I didn't have the same experience as some of the others, staff was nice, shop was clean, service was fast and prices are reasonable. I have a short hair cut, looking to grow it out n opted to get braids. I wanted micros but given that my hair is two inches n tapered in the back she suggested that I get small braids with the kankelion braid hair so it'd stay and not slip out, I agreed. There were two ladies braiding my hair, I was done in abt 4- 4.5 hours. Both ladies arrived at my scheduled appt time 9am, took them only abt ten minutes to setup and start braiding, I was finished some time after 1. The reason I gave 4 stars was because I did ask for the braids to be just a bit smaller after she showed me the first braid but in the end it still ended up the same size that she started, this wasn't a huge deal for me given that my hair was so short I'm glad they were able to work with it. Ultimately, I was satisfied with the service and I will be returning. I hope someone finds this review helpful as I took a chance because I was undecided after I read the reviews. However, I decided to stop in the following day after making my appt by phone Friday night. Saturday morning I stopped by the salon to get a feel for the place and see what type of customer service they'd offer, I'm glad I did, they were friendly when they greeted me and we're able to address any of my questions and concerns all while continuing to service their current clients. I will be returning and would recommend others to try. My braids were $180

I had an appt at 9 am they did not get to the shop til almost 10:30 and I asked for the color of my hair. My hair is a dark red/burgundy and I have black braids. They flat out stated they forgot my appt. but still no discount... REALLY the bathroom light didn't work either... braids nice otherwise
