This place uses unwashed synthetic hair that causes the hair to itch really bad. This is an horrible allergic reaction to synthetic hair and it comes from not pre-washing it before installing it in the hair. I had my hair braided 2 days ago and I have to take it down because the chemical that is used to coat the hair is burning my scalp. I will be going to the hospital tomorrow and calling my lawyer on Monday.

Why do they feel the need to blow dry and straighten hair for a style that is meant for kinky hair? Growing up this never happened, in fact if the natural hair was straight it could not be braided. 😤😳👎🏾

Took way to long to do my daughter's hair. A lady came in after my daughter and gotten the same hair style and was finished before my daughter. The one lady finished and helped the other lady finish the woman's hair while my daughter had to sit for over 8 hours and the lady could of helped with my daughter's hair. The lady doing my daughter's hair had stopped to eat and stopped to pick up a child that was in a highchair for hours, just wish that they did more work than eating and taking twenty minute bathroom break.

They don't take pride in their work.... They will do whatever they wanna do to your hair, take your money and swear they did a good job.... I do NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP TO ANYONE ever!!!!!!!!! Don't waste your time or hard earned money.... Go to Dee Dee's AFRICAN Braiding Shop in Bolingbrook.... Great work and customer service 👍🏾
