I am actually thoroughly disappointed. Let me start by saying that all of the cosmetologists are incredibly nice. I ended up getting scheduled with Angel, who I have read a few awesome reviews about. Like I said, she's very nice too. But when I go to a salon and I have a professional cutting my hair- I expect them to listen to my hair problems and cut it in the best way that will help these problems. For example, a lot of my hair is FRIED. Not your typical split end kind of dead, but like coarse, crinkly, stripped kind of fried. Also causing hairs to stick out all over my head. That's the whole reason I went to the salon. She didn't seem to see any of the fried hair I was speaking of, but rather thought I was mistaking it for "your lighter hair that looks like it's dry." And she told me my hair didn't look as unhealthy as it is and that the little bit that she cut out should be enough to make all my hair grow, so I sincerely thought maybe I am just overreacting and my hair wasn't that bad because you can't hardly tell looking in those mirrors or feeling your hair because it's soft after a cut and what not. Basically she cut unnoticeable amount of long layers into my hair (because I had already previously cut my length and didn't necessarily want to cut much off/out unless it was NECESSARY). So I get home and shower, low and behold my hair looks exactly the same, there are lots of hairs sticking out, and I can still run my fingers through my hair and feel fried hairs. I'm not exaggerating. So cutting more hair WAS necessary, and I expect a professional to know that and do what is best for my poor hair. I'm not saying I expected her to completely solve the problem, but I do expect them to know what's best. So now I have paid for a $30 haircut that isn't noticeable in the style or the health of my hair. Considering calling and talking to them for a refund or something. I feel bad making a bad review, they are really sweet, fun, but this time it comes down to the professionalism.
