Hairdresser Becky completely butchered my husbands hair. Management needs to assess the skills of this hair stylist because she is unable to cut a mans hair. Ackward chair talk, did not fade, went way to high and tight with many odd shapes. Went to another salon for an emergency fix 10 minutes after. Very unsatisified with Ocean Waves Salon! Never again.

I've been going to Ocean Waves Salon since I moved to Maine (about 8 months ago). Before Maine, I lived in NC and had been going to an Organic Color Systems salon there, so naturally I wanted to find another one here. I don't think I'd ever go back to a non Organic Color Systems salon. If you are unfamiliar, OCS is ammonia free, organic certified and cruelty free/vegan. They have a pretty nice swatch book if you like to change your color quite frequently :) Back to the salon...my colorist is Yris and I think she is extremely talented, detail-oriented and open-minded. I've been coloring my hair different shades of red/orange for a while now, and I change the color on her almost every time. I would recommend everyone try going to an OCS salon if you haven't tried before, especially this one. Everyone who works here is extremely nice and professional.
