I've been going to Fati's hair braiding since I was 8 years old, I am now 25 going on 26. The service is great and they treat you like family. You can always book an appointment or do a walk -in. If you do a Walk in please be prepared to wait as business is booming and there always someone looking to get their hair braided. I always get box braids for the most part in a variety of different sizes but I have tried kinky twist and cornrows which have turned out great as well. They are EXTREMELY QUICK I always get finished within hours sometimes 3 1/2 when there are two people in my head. The prices are great and the location is convenient. I've recommended so many people over the years and never got any bad reviews back. Fati, the owner is extremely nice as well. Overall great business would recommend to anyone in need of a cute, cost efficent, protective style.

Consistent professional job! My daughter and her friend got their hair braided in 3 hours on Saturday. It was not a busy Saturday we went during the second round (right around noon) both girls walked in (teens) were seated immediately and were done in 3 hours

I called and scheduled an appointment for a Saturday at 7:30AM. While I know that there are usually a lot of walk-ins, it would have been nice to be prioritized. It wasn't too bad, I was seated by 8:15AM. I requested large Marley twists with box-shaped parts; the stylists said "ok" and started twisting at a medium size and not in box parts. After some back and forth, we finally agreed on a size. The twists were done in about 2.5 hours, which made sense given the size of the twists (the parts were still not right at the end of the day). I went to pay, turns out the charge the same price for larger twists that take 2.5 hours and really small twists that take 5 hours. After moving past that, I went through about a week of really bad scalp pain, the twists were entirely too tight. Fast forward to a month and a half later, i take out the twists to see that chunks of hair had been ripped from my scalp. I went to the hairdresser and we were both appalled by the amount of hair that i lost. My hair is now much thinner than it used to be, my edges are almost non-existent and i lost a couple inches off the end. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the twists themselves were very pretty and well done.

Nice shop, and they will do a great job with your braids. However, this post is merely to comment on refreshing your edges. If you try to come first thing in the morning (7:25am), like I did, they will not see you period. The shop is currently empty, with 1 customer only, and many braid stylists. But they told me they will not see me until the afternoon at 3:00pm, regardless. I can understand if its a full house of people, but its 7:45am and still no new customers have arrived. They could be halfway finished with my edges at this point. Poor customer service! Thankfully, I was able to contact a different shop nearby, and they agreed to see me at 8:00am. Ridiculous!
