I came in from out of town and needed my hair done. I did a little google search and it wasnâ€™t far from my hotel. I called and got one price but after my hair was finished I paid a much higher price. I was told because it was my first time there I get a free condition treatment, but Iâ€™m sure with the price I paid it wasnâ€™t free. Money is tight these days and I make time to get my hair done before going to Maryland again. Thanks for the experience, a lesson learned.

The sign on the outside said Doris Dominican Hair so I was a little hesitant but decided to try it anyway. I needed some WORK! I've been transitioning on my own for almost a year so I needed my ends trimmed, I just didn't know how to style it (my husband has been asking for a straight style) and my old lady grays were shining bright lol. So the ladies helped me to find a semi-permanent hair color and even talked to me about hair steaming which I had never tried before. They were so hospitable offering coffee and tea and even shared a piece of Dominican cake with me. The place was very clean and my service began immediately which is huge for me because my old stylist would keep me there all day. So why four stars? Well I'm a little concerned about the heat. While the blowout was 'perfect without the flat iron' as another reviewer said the same night when I pin curled my hair I could smelled a burning smell on my hair. It's the next day and I can still smell it. Although I'm a little concerned about the heat damage, overall it was a nice experience. And I was in and out in about 2 hours with all the services I received - that's unheard of for me!

Love this place! I usually do my own hair but one day I took the risk out of laziness and ventured out. Now, I'm to lazy to do my own! LOL that's a first and how good they are! Ladies, this place is Not your typical Dominican Salon. You are literally in and out by the hour. No long waits, no "five pairs of hands" in your hair, Great Customer Service, decent pricing and Great results! My blow-out was perfect w/o the flat iron! As a Dominican,They truly made me proud...I mean I made a review and even brought my mother to this place! That's speaks enough all on it's own!

I went in on customer appreciation day 2 weeks ago. the service was great, the owner and other stylists are super friendly. the process was quick. I left my hair felt AMAZING.... I am african american with natural hair. OMG... my hair looked amazing. I cant wait to go back. Jasmine did my hair.

They accommodate walk-ins, they do a great job, and they're speedy! I've gone to other salons that would take three or four hours to do my hair and this place can do it in two!
