Looking for a place that can do long hair on boys well. -still looking. Front completely uneven. To spend over $60 to have three hair cuts and walk out like this. Not thrilled. Did fine on my other son with a buzz cut.

I had an appointment with Shaulin. She was cutting some one else's hair and when I said I had a 2.30 appointment , she was very surprised. I had made that appointment with HER the day before!! Took me 15 minutes late. No greeting, just pointed to the chair to get my shampoo. Starts wetting my hair without putting a towel around my neck. My back got a little wet. I ask for one and she says "Okaaay, Okaaay", like a spoilt child. Gets me the large black cape and a small grocery type plastic bag that she put around my neck. Says she cannot find a clip so asks me to hold on to it the whole time. Very awkward way to sit. Then I felt a slight poke on my neck and pulled back and she tells me the scissors are very expensive and cannot hurt me. Tells me I am very sensitive! She also manages to get a little water in my ear. During the haircut she doesn't listen to anything I have asked her to do. Tells me it's way too long (Duh)! She insisted that the next time I have to let her blow dry it, as she cannot see where she has to fix any mistakes. I have been getting only a shampoo and cut for about 25 years and no one has said this to me. Also didn't show me the back of my head after it was done. I always have it shown to me. Really disappointed with her service and will not return to her. I picked her as she had a good review elsewhere. Doesn't seem to have any manners and doesn't know how to talk to customers.

The ability of the hair stylists here varies, as does the price each one charges based on their title. Shauling is a master stylist and is consistenly the BEST. She listens to what you'd like, takes her time and her cuts grow out really nicely. Nellie and Kim are also good. I haven't tried any others after finding Shauling. You can also make appointments ahead of time on your phone and that helps save time. I've been coming here for five years now and many of the stylists are the same ones now who were there when I first started using the place.

My son always gets a hair cut here. Dee cee from Ashburn village branch always does the best job on him. My son is 2 but he stays calm and happy with her.
