Sarah is incredible! She has done a great job with this salon in the short time she's been open. All of the staff are lovely, knowledgeable, and amazing hairstylists. From the beautiful floors, to the brick walls, to the tin ceiling tiles the space is gorgeous. Whether you want to fix a bad dye job, change it up with a new color or go all out with neon colors - Moon Baby is the place to go!

Christine was phenomenal. Went in to get my hair colored two weeks ago. She also trimmed and blow dried all for a reasonable price. I will be visiting this lovely place again soon!

Awesome salon, great atmosphere, incredible work. Christine is absolutely magic, especially with color. Iâ€™d make the drive from the South Shore any day to get the quality service she provides. Great lady, and she makes the experience fun. I used to prefer dental trips over sitting for hours in a salon. Not anymore. Yay Moon Baby!!

My friend had me driving up from Arlington to Salem, MA in the end of October (!) just to go to Moon Baby because she wanted to show me her new favorite salon and have Christine cut my hair, and all I can say is YES! It was so worth braving the insane Salem Halloween parking & mob nightmare to go to this gem of a salon AND find my new stylist, Christine. The salon's atmosphere is divine, so unique & friendly & relaxing. Christine is a genius stylist, who actually cares about taking time to understand your style and give you not just a good professional cut, but the cut that you actually want (and I suspect even understands that those are not always the same thing). The owner and other staff are also so friendly & welcoming & fun, and the salon is connected to the owner's sister's shop, Witch City Wicks, that is definitely worth a browse - be warned though that you will probably discover amazing lotions or aromatherapy candles that you didn't know you absolutely needed to have (words can't describe the SO GOOD smells of spicy-herby complexity). The icing on the cake is that all their products, at the salon and I believe also the sister shop, are responsibly sourced so while you pamper yourself you can feel confident in knowing that you're also doing a good deed by going to a business that uses cruelty-free, so maybe go ahead and get yourself that new conditioner or delicious hand balm too! Trust me, you won't regret it.

A cool place and EXCELLENT hair styling! I've been going to see Sara for more than a decade, she can tame my not-quite-straight-not-quite-wavy hair like none other! Also, now that I'm a bit older, Sara has been helping cover my grey/white strands with super-natural color (which is hard because I'm naturally a strawberry blonde). This place is excellent, and conveniently located right in the middle of Salem.
