Went in for a simple cut and style,(loose waves) the girl who did my hair was nice but she curled my hair way more than I wanted which was fine because I was just gonna straighten out the curls to loosen them when I got home. Got home and did just that all to realize she curled my hair tight so I wouldn't notice how choppy the cut was. She had my hair looking like a Barbie dolls hair when a child cuts it. The pic showing the back of my head is from today when I went to a different salon and it clearly shows how uneven this girl made my hair. My stylist today said it was one of the worst and choppy cuts she's seen. The manager returned my call today all to have an attitude and tell me "I'm lucky she's even going to refund the money I paid for the haircut" after arguing with me about why I didn't come back there and let someone else cut my hair. (Still waiting on that refund btw) You can tell she's careless about her customers and she is beyond rude. Based off of most of the bad reviews I've seen and my own experience here this would be the last place I would recommend to anyone.

I got the best haircut I've had for a long time. Professional treatment by a true. I not only looked better when I left, I felt better. This Fantastic Sam’s is my favorite. It is easy to get to when travelling west on Ford Road as well as from North Sheldon Road. There is plenty of parking in the parking lot. The staff is friendly, upbeat and caring. They are very good at what they do. I always have a good experience there. Today was exceptional because I had a better experience than usual! Lisa listened to me and cut my hair the way I needed it. She also helped me with my eyebrows and gave me a shampoo to boot. The place is kept clean and smells fresh. Though it was busy today the technicians were all cooperating and it was just a pleasure to be there. You can call ahead for an appointment if you wish but it is such a bright place I normally just drop. Their database actually works so I told them phone number and they my other visits all in order.

Lisa did an amazing job, she gave me exactly what I wanted and was super sweet. I was also seen very quickly! Ill be returning especially to see Lisa!

This is what I went in for, and what I received. I spent 5 HOURS in the salon, and walked out with my hair wet and could not see the result until I went home and blew it dry myself and started lifting it up. I was there for so long the salon was about to close and I was rushed out. IT LOOKS NOTHING LIKE WHAT I WANTED! My hair started falling out because I was left under the heat for TOO long, and it was so damaged. I paid WAY TOO MUCH for this, and had to pay more money to get it corrected somewhere else. I had green, purple, gray, and bronze in my hair and washing it purple was washing right out and my hair was fading immediately. So disappointed with the result and recommend going elsewhere.

I had taken my 81 year old mom in for a haircut about six weeks ago. She has a healing skin irritation on her scalp that looks better now than it did when she first went in. When she arrived today, they said, "we can't do this. We are not allowed to cut hair if there are any open wounds." When we pointed out that there was nothing "open" or a "wound", they again invoked this policy that they asserted had come into effect within the past 6 weeks. My mom felt demoralized and humiliated. Given the effort it takes for people who use walkers or canes, she put in a lot of effort to ge treated badly. Don't worry though-we took her to a competitor who treated her like a queen. In summation: -If you have a policy and try to invoke it, make sure the siutation matches the policy. -If you must turn away a prospective client, treat them with dignity and grace. -I absolutely do not recommend this salon -But I sure can recommend a better plance in the area.
