I wasn't going to write this, but the more I look at my hair the more I feel inclined to.. I called, got a haircut scheduled and came in and was assigned to Emily.. right off the bat she seemed like she was in a rush but was very very kind and we discussed what I wanted for my hair.. I gave an outline of what I wanted and then I showed her a PICTURE of what I wanted and said "I want it to look like this".. I asked her if she got what I meant, she said yes, and then the first thing she proceeded to do after that was take off 2 inches from a spot that, if she had looked at the picture, wasn't meant to be taken off of, and there was no point in saying anything once the hair is already gone.. fast forward to the end of the haircut: it looked horrible.. it was NOTHING like I had wanted it, described it, or had showed her in the picture.. I'm not talking the "it's just a little shorter than I wanted" kind of haircut, no, it was not even close to wanted I asked for; she did things I didn't ask her to do, she DIDNT do things she said she was going to.. all and all it was a wreck.. when I tried to fix it and ask her to do something with certain parts she would act very impatient and was rushing the end like she did the whole haircut.. I was so upset and didn't understand how something made so clear could go so wrong.. I paid my $25 and left.. I kept looking at it when I got back to work and I couldn't shake it, so I called back and asked them if she could at least ATTEMPT to fix the number she did on my hair.. well she was busy but the owner himself offered to look at it.. when I got there, the owner, despite his busy schedule, took me just minutes after I got there.. he was so very kind and I showed him what it was supposed to look like and he tried to salvage what he could from what it was before, and did a good job.. he was so very sweet and didn't charge anything extra for helping me.. if I could rate this based on my experience with him it would easily be 5 stars. the hair still doesn't look good, doesn't fit my face shape, and is WAY to short and thinned out, but at least when it grows in it'll grow in better than what it would have. Emily is a wonderful lady and I'm sure she is a good hair dresser, I'm sure she has done great jobs on a lot of people.. but not on me. Emily butchered my hair and I can't say I know why; I did my part, I even showed a picture, but something went wrong and I have to wait months before it grows in to have it look good. I'm not being mean and I'm definitely not exaggerating, I'm just being honest.. if I go back it will be to see the owner

My go to stylist. I came from an area that has world class stylists and I was afraid that I would not be able to find the same quality in a smaller town. These stylists can compete with all comers. Sharon Stuckey is my stylist. I had wanted to go blonde, however, with my skin color, it's easy for the look to be brassy and overdone. Sharon worked with me to get the perfect color for me. It's very low maintenance and my friends rave about how pretty my hair is.

Spent a few months at Keesler AFB for work & got lucky enough to find this gem! I have long hair & am generally scared to let anyone touch it. Came in for a trim/color with Emily & couldn't have been more pleased! The cut was perfect, phenomenal job on color & it's easily one of the nicest salons I've seen. The interior can't even be compared to that of a typical salon, it's beautiful. I fully anticipated paying $200 minimum & was shocked when my total was half that. Loved it so much that when I flew my daughter in to town I had to schedule an appointment for her as well! I've been looking for a salon like this back home for years & still no luck. Will definitely miss it ---highly recommend!

My first appointment was rescheduled which I really didn't mind, but upon arrival and my appointment beginning I then realized that I was being juggled with another client, so I felt like my whole appointment was rushed. I had to ask what color was being put on my hair, there was no real discussion beforehand other than I was going to get a touch-up and some red low-lights. My stylist was lovely, but my haircut which was effectively a trim, wasn't finished at all really, the top was hardly touched and my fringe wasn't touched at all. I'd discussed my hairline with my stylist and how I like it was ignored. I wasn't even shown the back in the mirror, but rushed out as she had to see to her other client. I had to check it when I got home. I have super short hair and my stylist used a huge flat iron when she should have used a 1 inch iron, the most around 5/6 times in the front an on one side of my hair and charged me for a "flat Iron service". When I checked out, I felt like I'd been held up at gun point at a ridiculous all in price of $164. I'm in this industry and have worked in London & California and have never and would never have the audacity to charge someone with my length of hair that money for any service. I'm so disappointed as the color didn't take at points where I told her I had stubborn grey, but it wasn't checked afterwards. I don't blame the Stylist herself for the prices but her attention to detail could have been better today, I'm sure she's better when working one to one. I blame the way the Salon is run. Needless to say, I won't be back, first impressions are so important.

This was my first trip to the salon. I am only here for the winter and someone recommend it to me. It's a quaint salon set up in an old remodeled home downtown. Everyone was friendly. Emily gave me my haircut and style. I was quit pleased with her work. Best haircut I've had in awhile. Will definitely return while I'm here.
