I don’t know why this place has such high reviews/rates. This is one of the WORST hair braiding places i’ve ever been to. I have several reasons as to why NOBODY, I REPEAT NOBODY, should waste their money here! Firstly, they have terrible customer service. I understand that they may not speak english very well, but that doesn’t matter. If i walk into your store you’re supposed to greet me, not just have me standing there all awkward waiting to be acknowledged. Secondly, the place itself is DISGUSTING. I walked in there and the first thing I saw was a ROACH. There were several other insects like spiders crawling around too. The overall facility was just poorly kept. Quiet frankly, it didn’t even look like a braiding/ hair salon, it just looked like an almost empty space with a few chairs. Not to mention they had a bunch of babies running around,, no wifi, and no AC. They were also extremely rough and seriously overpriced. Like why does it cost $240 for some cheap braiding hair? I’ve NEVER payed that much for the LOW quality, BOGUS, hair they put in my head. Overall the experience was completely terrible. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. I seriously don’t know why the ratings are so high. They probably just asked a bunch of people that work here to give good reviews, but it is terrible! Hope you all take my review into consideration when you look for a place to get your braids done.

Very friendly and Very fast!! Great quality work!! I came in for box braid and I was out in3 hours!! Definitely will be back!!

After we visited Vero African Hair Braiding`s salon, I've never gone elsewhere. I am satisfied every time I leave the salon in Jackson, MS!

After being in Jackson MS for 4 years I final found an establishment that does quality work. My hair is neat an exactly what I wanted. The girls were professional an very fast. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in need of professional braiding.
