Pissed

Booked an appointment online for 11:30a with Melody Washington. Was told to come back at 12 noon cause she was running behind.Came back and sat til 12:30p..then I asked did I need to reschedule was told yes...I requested a refund...She had an attitude with me when she should've had it with her self for not contacting me ahead of time letting me know now bfr hand instead of her excuses at the time..I tooke off to get my hair did..wasted my time,gas,and deposit which I have yet to receive

No one else is allowed to style my hair other than Melody. I have been coming to Natural U for 5 years, and my hair has significantly grown because of Melody's gentle technique. I am extremely tender headed, and I never cringe when Melody styles my hair. I started my natural hair journey with Melody's guidance, and haven't looked back since. I have moved away from the area, but I am lucky that my job flies me to Jackson frequently, to where I can still let Melody style my hair. It has been a rewarding experience, and I am thankful to be able to have the best stylist ever. I've told any and every body in the area who is thinking about transitioning or who already is natural, to come to Natural U Salon. #almosttailbonelength

Stylist could have been nicer/more inviting. There's much more I could say but the wash and go was a "no go". It seem as if my hair type (4C) was something she wasn't use to dealing with nor did it seem like they had the right products to use when it comes to different hair types. Seemed less educated on doing natural hair.

I’ve been going to Natural U for like 5 years now! The stylist there are amazing and always make you feel as if you’re at home. If you’re looking for a specific style there’s nothing they can’t do! I highly recommend you to get your hair done here. Best natural salon in Jackson hands down!

The atmosphere was GREAT!!! Emmy did an amazing job on my braids!!! Im totally feeling myself!!! I loved the vibe from all the ladies. I'll most definitely being going back!!!
