Magic Hands is one of the best salons in Hattiesburg. They are most concern with their clients having healthy hair.. which is so important to me. I've had about 6 different color processes on my hair, and with each one.. my hair has remained healthy, with trimming, moisture treatments and protein treatments. Multiple stylists have done my hair, and overall, I was satisfied with each. If I had any concerns, I told the owner, Liz and she accommodated me. The atmosphere is pleasant, the staff is trained and knowledgeable. I see there are bad reviews, but those reviews must be based on stylists who are no longer working there. Which is possible. I recommend you experience it for yourself. If you have any issues, let Liz know. She will take care of you.

I love this salon. I travel 4 hours for the experience I receive, the stylist are up to date with trends and they care about my hair health. I have long, thick hair and many salons don't give my hair the quality service that I receive at Magic Hands. The prices are extremely reasonable also.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the salon. Liz was my stylist and she exemplified the true essence of a hair stylist. She was knowledgeable and explained every step of my first time visit at her establishment. I am looking forward in my next visits to come and I truly know that my hair is in the right hands, magic hands at that!!! Thanks Liz!!

I don't recommend this place. The shop is nice , but the girl who did my hair had the worst attitude I've ever seen. She acted like she didn't want to do my hair and she didn't seem to care about my concerns. When I told her my concerns about my hair being heat damaged, she gave me responses like , "Well I don't know what to tell you. I do this all the time. So you want to straighten it or not?". I wasn't looking to argue, I just wanted her to assure me by telling me what she was about to do to my hair and why my hair will not burn. That's all I wanted. It's common since to make your customer feel comfortable. She had absolutely no customer service skills(at least when she was with me). I'm not sure how she treats other customers, but you guys really need to have a talk with your staff. When I tried talking to her she wouldn't even make eye contact with with me. It was obvious she didn't like me or was easily annoyed/had an attitude problem. she acted like my requests and concerns were too much. Mid you I was being very polite and didn't ask for much. As for my hair, it came out okay, but not good.The iron she used must have been a cheap iron or she just didn't know how to do my hair. I have natural 4b-4c hair. The welcome desk assistant was nice and welcoming, but other than that my experience was terrible.
