We really enjoyed our experience at this hair salon!
I have heard great things from my a Korean friends for well over a decade, but I had never booked a haircut here for some reason.
When you walk in, you feel comfortable and welcomed. It doesn’t have a day spa vibe, and I don’t think the decor has changed much in many years.
BUT THATS OK! It’s not day spa prices or day spa unfriendliness!
The online booking was a great features, along with the appointment reminder that was sent.
We had to wait for while because Yong was busy with another client. It didn’t seem like she was over booked but as if this person’s hair had taken longer to perm. Each of our hair cuts were quick, and you can tell Yong is confident and experienced.
She listened well about specific requests for my son - he has been growing it out into Zelda breath of the wild link, kind of anime style, which is a specific and unusual explanation- but she understood 100% and her son has a similar hairstyle, and was able to explain more to her.
She listened well to the unspecific requests for my hair (thin it out, shorten it, not too short, Yeah, that’s fine)
My daughter was satisfied with her trim, and I am too.
She offered to cut my 2 year olds hair - a first haircut - and I agreed. She made my child feel so special and relaxed. Usually first haircuts can be stressful, but this wasn’t at all. Also, she didn’t charge for this!
To conclude, we liked this so much for a “mom with kids all getting hair cuts on the same day” experience. The prices were so fair, the time we spent there was reasonable, and the stylist is such a great person. I felt like I left with a friend AND a good haircut for myself! The kids’ cuts are as good or better than all the kids’ cuts we’ve had in town (and we’ve had some really terrible kids’ cuts!)
We will be returning customers for sure!
