What is the point of asking a person how they want their hair cut, if you're only going to give them what you want?
My request was finger length. Point cut, sides starting at 1 blending up. Everything else shaped on an angle. No curves or straight across.
Finger length by any standard is definitely not longer than 1 inch, and usually more like half to 3/4 inch.
I even asked my stylist, I believe her name was amanda, to see her fingers. I wanted to determine the width.
What I got was 2 inches not point cut. The 1 is probably the least amount of my sides. Which means she started with the 3 and working down to blend into a 2 inch cut instead of starting with the 1 and blending into a finger length cut.
When she finished, she asked me how it was, my response was sarcasm "it will last me 2 weeks".
I as a truck driver can not afford to stop to get my hair cut every 2 weeks, and shouldn't be expected to.
LISTEN TO WHAT YOUR CUSTOMER SAYS, IF YOU'RE NOT SURE THAT THEY KNOW WHAT THEY WANT, ASK THEM AGAIN. BUT ALWAYS LISTEN TO YOUR CUSTOMER!!!
