I am someone who never enjoyed getting my hair cut or colored. When I left previous salons, I felt as if I had done more harm than good, like I was wasting money on chemical treatments that were detrimental to my hair and my health. That all changed when I went to Moira at Earthly Roots. Not only is her salon chemical and odor free, but she does an excellent job at cutting hair. I do not have easy hair to cut, its long, thick, and crazy curly and Moira gave me the best cut I have had since moving to NH! Also, all of the products she carries are natural, fairly priced, and effective. I've never been loyal to a shampoo or conditioner before until I tried the Sevi pumpkin seed products she caries, and now I will not put anything else on my hair. It's really nice to give business to like minded people, who are doing good things for people right here in your community! Oh, and she has this big, mushy, lovey dog named Bo who just makes you smile as soon as you walk in!

Moira is the best Hair Stylist I ever gone to. I have straight fine hair and the way she cuts my hair makes it look fuller and never choppy. Her talent is outstanding!! I love the fact that she gives her time specially to you. Her shop is quiet and never is there people waiting and interrupting, very relaxing experience. The products she uses are great for the environment and my hair. They smell awesome. May I add the best part of the experience is Bo her buddy. He's truly a big part of her shop. I can't even begin to say how wonderful Moira is.

Beautiful salon, warm and inviting. Products are nice. Owner listens and is confident. I wasn't pleased with my cut and color, however but my hair is very challenging. Her hydrating dryer is impressive. I would recommend this salon.

I, too arrived on Moira's doorstep with damaged and over-colored hair. I've always lived an active, outdoor life and never had anything more than a basic, blunt cut. When the gray started to creep in in my late 40's I sought out some highlights with but they quickly became overdone. Although my previous stylist also used organic products, her application techniques were not as professional as Moira's. Moira has brought my hair back to it's former natural health and keeps the little bit of gray at bay. She's also helped me feel more brave about trying different cuts and honors the fact that I'm a wash and wear kind of person by not sending me out the door with something I could never recreate at home. Her salon is pleasant, peaceful, clean, and doesn't reek of chemicals. She's top notch, I can't recommend her highly enough and wouldn't go anywhere else.
