This salon is as good as it gets. While Laurel is leader of the pack and a genius with color and cut, Berget and Nancy are also wonderful. It doesn't really matter whom you book with, each one is a real pro. Beyond that, the atmosphere is friendly and comfortable, the Aveeda products so kind on your hair, and I have never seen a client (including myself) leave that salon with anything but a smile on her face. Refuge is a really great find. I rank them as number one in comparison with salons in Boston and beyond. It's a destination salon in the heart of Meredith, NH.

I have not visited this salon but I want to commend them for being so gracious when I called frantically searching for a stylist for my wedding day. My stylist cancelled last minute and I got the number from the venue we booked at. They were friendly and eager to help.
