Botched Highlights

I had seen some good reviews and since my other salon was further I decided to go here. I just needed simple highlights and they completely botched it up. I went back the same day for them to fix but it was no use. I couldn't put my hair up for weeks you could see highlight lines. For the money I paid I would have never expected that. Please do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Do not believe these fake reviews. I went in for simple highlights and they completed botched it. I went back the same day and they tried to fix it a bit. For the money you are 100% better off going elsewhere.

I am so excited to have found this place. I checked out their instagram and absolutely LOVED the detail of each stylist having their own salon-specific instagram! It's usually so difficult to see the person's work beforehand if they don't have an insta, or combing through the tags on the salon's page guessing which stylists did what - not at all. I saw all the stylist's work very clearly (all of it gorgeous). After looking I really loved the color on Caitlin's page and booked her for my appointment. Caitlin did an incredible job. The color is absolutely STUNNING and I really loved that she took her time to understand the detailed colors and shades I like, and recommend things that I don't normally do or ask for that matched that style. I never would have been able to think of this color or articulate it for myself and it's such a gorgeous shade. She did an amazing job! I love the body on the cut, too! The owner was also super nice and genuinely seemed excited to see the work the stylists were doing. It was such a cool atmosphere! Their model of time-based services is also super smart and very reasonable - never once did I get anxious because we're doing one more treatment/product/etc that you sometimes feel in a salon. It just further proves that they want to provide an excellent service without any pressure, and bottom line, it's about great hair. Everyone seemed extremely skilled and very excited about what they were doing. The salon itself is also very sleek and impeccably clean. I'll be back again soon!

I'm starting to have very very little faith in on line reviews. I visited this salon right before xmas and my hair was ruined by a junior stylist. I had a balayage service that left me with orange streaks. I went back to give the salon a chance to rectify the situation and left with yellow hair ...done by another jr stylist (when on the phone I was told I would see the owner). It was the worst experience I had in 20+ years of getting my hair colored and my hair is still not completely corrected. beware!! (attached pics of orange highlights and yellow hair) Just wanted to add the comment by the owner in regard to being late is completely a LIE! WOW..that did NOT happen. I was in fact early for my appt. I was more than understanding about the situation as it was days before the Holidays. The way your salon decided to rectify the orange highlights was to have another jr stylist highlight my hair, turning my hair yellow, and by you accusing me of wanting old color fixed at no charge.

A truly great experience, my stylist was Spencer and he worked on my hair about 4 hours. The color and cut was spot on what I asked for. His craft exceeded my expectations and I left a happy customer! I look forward to returning to Craft + Theory for my next appointment. Thank you so much Spencer you are awesome!

I was a guest at C&T yesterday afternoon. After 2 kids and a whole lot of baby time, I've been ready for a mommy overhaul. I am so grateful to the entire staff--they did exactly what I wished for. They spent SO much time--stayed late--well beyond what was necessary. They took their time and didn't skimp on anything. My hair really looks incredible. I went from dark brown and blah to bright beautiful blond with gorgeous natural highlights. My cut is awesome--and literally has made me feel 10 years younger. Thank you to the whole crew for once again outdoing yourselves. You totally exceeded my expectations! Finding a salon that you love and trust is so challenging these days--I would recommend Craft & Theory without any reservation. Their talent and knowledge is the best around and the customer service is unparalleled. Thank you!!!
