First time I went in there there was 4 people in the shop but only 3 doing hair so I'm waiting and waiting they say I'm gonna be next and so the one lady gets finished with doing the girls hair and then leaves and doesn't come back so I had to wait another hour. Finally it's my turn and I had to explain to them what I wanted which was a vixen crochet what I thought was simple but of course they didn't know. (Side story they told a girl one price then said it would be more for that big of braids then even more eventually $200 because she wanted her hair 2 inches longer) so they're doing my hair and arguing with each other. Me I speak some French but not that island French so I could understand bits and pieces of their petty family drama. But eventually all 3 of them literally started screaming then the girl doing my hair with her baby literally runs out of the room crying hysterically! She eventually calms down but leaves the building and her sister or cousin or whatever who was doing hair follows. Now the only person who wasn't doing hair their aunt or something decides to come over and do my hair...the wrong way! I ended up with half my head messed up. Second time I went there because the crying lady with the baby and the old lady and the lady who left early wasn't there and she only had one person in the chair. I wanted something easy this time a 2 way vixen sew in that the lady across the street told me to do because my head was small. But of course she had no clue what it was and couldn't understand how to do it so I literally had to show her and explain to her how to do it and it ended up terrible. None of my hair could cover the tracks it was a mess.

They don't listen they give you a completely different hairstyle then what you asked for. They have a baby that screams and pulls the hair they are using for you . Told me my hair would be done in 4 hrs I came at 10am left at 5 and my braids are coming out and I've only had them for 2 days

I used to come here all of the time when I was little. Under the original owners, the shop wsa a thriving business. But NOW, it is a different story. They are moderately prices, but they have a VERY hard time following direction and giving the costomer what they want. I revieved very long very large braids when that is now what I asked for. THEN. Two days after having it done, three braids ripped out from my edges and gave me two huge bald spots! And I don't have short edges. When I went back to have them fixes, they tried to charge me $40 to re-do the row around my edges, which were clearly too tight. Needless to say I left after raising hell and went down the street to Claudine's and was taken care of there. They will NO LONGER get my business.

Never will I suggest someone get there hair done by this shop. I took my daughter and her friend for box braids. I asked for their braiding sizing chart. The lady reviewed the pricing of med size box braids (about 1/2 of a thumb nail, she quoted me a price of $160.00) I said no with out the hair. She than said 150. WTF. Meanwhile my daughters friend has shorter hair needed small box braids (bout the size of pinky nail, she said $180.00) I said you got to be kidding me, there a big size different between both braids and how is there only a $20.00 difference? I asked how long will it take, she said she'll have 2 ppl work on the smaller braids so bout 4 hrs. Needless to say we arrived at 1:30 pm and left at 1:45am. During the time of the girl getting there hair done (in which one lady started the smaller braids right away) I was in and out the shop. When I stop back in to check on the girls....they have yet to start my daughters hair at 3ish. So I said let do her hair in larger braids I do not which to stay here all night. They said ok, now you quoted me different prices already!!!!! I told them the exact size, I wanted and I said I would like her parts larger and larger sections of hair to each braid. While i came back her braids are beyond larger than the size I said. More so, they are not GREAT! This put the icing on the cake, they were still trying to charge me $150. What in the world? I never seen such! I am embarrassed to say how much I paid. I will post pictures and hashtag BEWARE!

There ridiculous $50 for some simple cornrolls, no weave added acted like they couldn't speak English until they want money, shop is dirty old couches, no good sitting, chairs to get your hair done in are broke. And they don't wash they hands, never again.
