Absolutely horrible First off let me say I'm from NY and get my hair braided once a month. I planned a weekend get away with some girlfriends and was running late so I left NY without getting my hair done. I call this place and she seems accommodating. I get there and notice that shes not doing the best of jobs on the girl she already has in her chair. But I go against my better judgment and allow her to do my hair. First of all she didn't even have my color hair. Ok fine I can go with something else. Then she begins to put a whole glob of some smelly cream on my hair telling me its organic. Then she is pulling my hair and I look at the first few braids and notice my parts are not even straight smh I was so annoyed. Then she stopped every so often to talk on the phone and had drug addicts coming to her shop as she bought their food stamps I was utterly disgusted by this women her inability to braid and even more so to conduct Fraudulent acts in front of her customers. Needless to say my hair was a HOT MESS and it was an absolute horrible experience And a total waste of $$$$$ NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

Called Amina's shop a half hour before closing the night before I wanted to schedule the appointment. She asked me what time I wanted to come in/what I wanted done. Came in the next morning right when the shop opened, showed her a picture of the style I wanted and she made it happen. She is nice and easy to talk to and about her business. I came from out of town/was here on vacation and definitely would return again. My only advice would be is to take the boardwalk vs the streets to get there if going by foot.

Love love my hairstyle made a appt out of state from north Dakota. Amina got me in and out and was very fast..showed her a picture of my braids I wanted and she did that will visit every time I come back to alantic city... Barber shop was inside Barber was also great he gave my husband a great lineup and fade..
