After my back surgery I wanted to treat myself to a new hair color. I wanted black to silver ombré. I had light pink hair at the time. I have been dying my hair for years and because of my surgery I couldn't do my own hair so I was skeptical but trying to trust someone else with my hair. They used color remover and did some kind of treatment for my hair. The black was next. The black was down to my ears like I wanted and the bottom was getting ready to be lightened to put the silver in. She lifts the hair it comes out good, she only had to lift it one more time to get to where we needed to be. I ask her before she finished it how much all of this will cost and she said she will try to keep the price around $160. She dyed the top black one more time, and started using foils for the bottom. I see she was putting the black all the way to the bottom and I didn't want that, I asked her why she was doing it and she said because she has to blend the hair. She said don't worry, it will look like the picture. It wasn't blending it was more like highlights, and she definitely did not listen or follow the picture at all. One strand of foil was black then another lightener and so on. After she washed it I wasn't very happy at all about my hair, the whole thing was black except for a couple streaks being semi blonde. She only did the toner afterwards with no silver dye at all. She blow dried it and said that I could always come back for more silver. How can you do more silver over black? You can't. I wasn't thrilled, but she told me my hair before to now was corrective color. I went to the register and the price was double! $325 plus $50 tip. $375 of hair color I could have went to Sallys or Walmart and done it my self at home. I almost died when she told me the price. The next day I came back and complained and that didn't get anywhere because they kept making it seem like I came in with a rats nest for her to fix when I didn't. I went back today and complained once again and the ladies were saying things they never said and or discussed with me. It was not what I wanted and for $375 I should have gotten my hair how I wanted it and maybe a manicure and pedicure while I'm their. I have never paid that much for my hair, ever. It was poor customer service and they were very rude to me and my mother in-law who came with me and we stated how we felt it should have been handled. They gave me my money back while almost throwing it at me, and even wrote my name down so they would never take me again and told me to never come back. Now I have to deal with black hair and I can't do anything with it but wait and try to use color remover or dawn dish soap.
I recommend if you want your hair done right, go somewhere else.
