Phenomenal

Martino Cartier’s salon, is five stars enough? I think not. I went on a Saturday morning and boy were they busy! However, despite full stations, it didn’t feel like that. Each station operated so smoothly and efficiently. Never rushed. Very thorough, attentive, and comfortable!! I am a people watcher. I feel like a lot of people are but don’t admit it. Every employee was happy and filled with love and passion for what they do. I watched each hair dresser. Each taking their time making a connection with their client and making sure their client knew they were special. Even the owner, Martino!! I was impressed. He spent so much time with each client. Before he even started a clients treatment he spent time listening and absorbing every word spoken to him. The genuine love and passion he shows makes you believe in the good of this world again. This salon isn’t just about hair cuts. This salon is the full treatment: physical, emotional, spiritual. I was in awe with amazement.

I almost never go to a salon. The last perm I had was 20 years ago. I was getting tired of my hair going flat but was so afraid to get a perm. One day, coming home from my mom's, I drove by this amazing house. My research led me to Cartier Martino. After reading about this amazing man, I said "Go to his salon!". I saw Patty and she did a wonderful job on my hair. I was never uncomfortable and she not once made me feel akward. My shampoo girl was wonderful,too. I recommend this salon to anyone who is uncomfortable about getting to a salon.

I was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. If medical treatment isn't challenging enough, the hair loss is something you know is inevitable, in the back of your mind, you think am I ever going to look the same again? I was referred to the Martino Cartier Salon in Washington Township New Jersey by Cooper Medical Center. From the initial call to the salon to the completion of the appointment I was in AWE! Upon arrival at the salon, I was met with such graciousness. Martino's confidence in his profession is contagious! He immediately removes any apprehension you may have had about wearing a wig. You walk out of his salon feeling like a million dollars! I highly recommend this salon to anyone who is looking for a trim to a full makeover! Martino knows hair and is a true miracle worker. My highlights are the best I’ve ever had and my hair stays in healthy condition. This is important because a stylist can easily fry your hair if they don’t know what they’re doing. I’ve had other stylists at the salon fill in for Martino when he was away and they are just as good. My hair has never looked better. The salon is clean and beautifully decorated. I love to support a business that gives back to the community. Besides all the local community gifts he gives, Martino provides wigs to cancer patients FREE of charge and grants wishes for terminally ill kids. His actions speaks volumes ❤️

i have done several keratin treatments before and that was the worst!!!!! I asked them for a treatment that reduces and smoothes the curly hair. Martino's assistant is the one who was working on my hair, she honestly did a great job straightening it! However, after 3 days I washed my hair and WOW as if I made nothing!!!! Literally, i could have done a hair mask at home instead of all this! A $300 dollars service for literally no effect!. I called the salon and thought they would have an answer for what happened, they got back to Martino and all what was said oh you shouldn't expect a smoothed hair with a keratin treatment, and when I argued about this telling them no that's not what you said and my hair is the same as before not even 5% difference, they said that you didn't use a keratin shampoo! Although I used Olaplex shampoo, and everyone knows that its Paraban and sulfate free. Again, they got back to me saying that no you should have used a KERATIN shampoo. I told them no one mentioned that i need a KERATIN shampoo through the whole visit it's not my fault, they were like we have nothing else to say! NEVER make a hair treatment their! It's such a disappointment!.
