I used to go here a lot in the past. They are great hair designers. Nice and friendly. Just make sure to tell them what style you want and show a picture if you can.

I came here as a recommendation from someone I know who has gotten her hair done here. The main female stylist has beautiful long blonde hair which she does herself, and she is Asian which is even more impressive because it is tricky to lighten Asian hair. I wanted to dye my hair ombre style, which I heard was something she had a reputation for being good at. When I went, a worker was already ushering me into a hair washing robe, and directing me to the sinks, but I asked to discuss what can be done first before wetting my hair. I was polite because that's how I like to be treated. Anyway, I asked because I've read in numerous style guides that when you are going to make a big change, be sure to talk about it and have the stylist see your hair dry before moving forward so he/she knows what they are working with. The blonde stylist who was going to be dying my hair, overheard my request and instead of coming up to me and speaking to me she spoke loudly (she was maybe 20 feet away) "why don't you put on the robe first so we can start." She sounded annoyed and patronizing, which was confusing because I didn't think my request was unreasonable and also she looked like she was only a little older than me. I let it go because it takes a lot to "get to me," so I obliged donned the robe and sat. I gave her a general idea of what I wanted and said I was open to suggestions of what the blonde stylist thought. Before I could end my last sentence she just steam rolled me with statements like "I don't understand what you want," "do you know what you want," "so what are you trying to say." It was hard to explain when she interrupted every 5 words with the same questions. English is my first language so it wasnt a language barrier issue. When she finally understood and gave suggestions, I realized that the ombre didn't seem like a good choice. To be polite, I said, "I see so if we do this, this happens and if we do this, we can't take care of this. I think I will have to think about this more, but thank you." and then I would have left no hard feelings. Except, I never got to get the full sentence out because she interrupted me every two seconds to repeat why she couldn't do this and that. Literally, she said the same thing at least 5 times. Finally, I said, "Ok, I understand, you do not need to keep bringing up the same thing." Before I could get my next sentence out - which would be "ok, I will need to think about this more, thank you for your time" and then exit the situation- she cut me off again and began a barrage of sentences such as "so what do you want to do," "I gave you all the options," "I have other clients so I can't just stay here with you" "no point in sitting here in a robe if you are not sure" ~ I gave up trying to say my last sentence of "thank you, I have to think about it," waited for her to finish her little tirade, and then got up, took off the robe and left the salon quietly, more appalled than angry. So, maybe this blonde Asian stylist can do wonders with hair or scare silent the dissatisfied clients, or both, I don't know. I'm just saying that from my experience, the only talent I witnessed, was her ability to verbally bully a client for whatever reason. I gave it two stars because "hate" is such a strong word. I do not care enough about the salon to feel hate it.
