I had the most amazing experience at this place. I needed to book hair and makeup for a wedding and I started looking for places around me. The reviews about this salon made me a bit skeptical at first as many of them classified it as overpriced and not worth the money spent. I couldn't disagree more. It is costly (as everything else in NYC), but the service, the place, and especially the staff make it all worth. Of course the end result is also not to be disregarded. Since it was my first time I booked online without knowing who I was getting. I was really lucky to get Edgar. He is a superstar!! Not only friendly and understanding right away of what i needed, but a true magician. He made my eyes look like you could not miss them. And my hair (which is now a disaster, fine, fragile and totally unworkable), he made it into this gorgeous goddess hairstyle. The place is so cool, fun and chic (and yes, we do have to pay for that too) Coming back for seconds and thirds!

Could this be the worst Hair Salon in the Plaza Hotel in NY? Made my hair appointment a week ago and today Saturday December 3, 2016, I was scheduled to get a blowout and makeup done. But unfortunately they made me wait 20 minutes or more, switching the hairstylists and when they appointed the shampoo assistant he completely disregarded me and he was just day dreaming and walked away. By this time they have wasted half an hour with no apparent reason or any explanation to me. At this point I realize that the service here at Warren-Tricomi Salon that is within the hotel property doesn't see any kind of any regard for the guest of the hotel. I understand that the hotel doesn't bare any responsibility but still it's a GREAT disappointment to me. P.S. I don't see me coming back to Plaza Hotel in the future because I don't get the proper services that I deserved.
