It must have been a bad day. My hair was cut by the owner and there's no way she keeps the business alive with the kind of service she provided me. At least there was an apology! Peace.

I have long straight hair and she managed to cut my hair very nicely, by giving it many layers without loosing any body or volume. The price is also very reasonable. I have recommended her services to my colleague at work, who was also very pleased. I'm looking forward to going back for another haircut.

Tucked away on the mostly-residential Leigh Ave., I was thrilled to discover this hair salon in Princeton. Great hair cut, great prices, great service. Very friendly, with a family-owned feel. (It's also an easy bikeride from Nassau St., and there's a bike rack right in front of the salon.) Why spend more money at one of the corporate chains or uber fancy salons when you can support a great local business like Maria's?
