I’m glad some people have had a positive experience here, which is why I came to this place, but there’s no way I could recommend to this place to anyone. This is the worst haircut experience I’ve ever had, especially for the cost. The hairdresser rushed through my haircut SO quickly after one of her more valued regular customers came in. She was cutting my hair so chaotically and frenzied she snagged her scissors in my hair multiple times, yanking my head. Same thing when she was brushing my hair, it was appalling. Also, she didn’t bother to wash my hair before OR after the cut. I couldn’t believe she cut my hair while it literally still had noticeable indents in it from my hair tie. So there’s no way the hair cut would come out even. When I got home and washed it, it was so obvious how terrible and unfinished the haircut was. Super choppy layers and uneven lengths in different places. What’s so upsetting about this is that I had reasonable expectations and wasn’t expecting a mind-blowingly excellent haircut, but I was shocked to experience this level of low effort, low quality haircut.

Had a fabulous first time experience with Hugh and Cindy. Hugh really took the time to explain his dry cut technique and Cindy did a great job on the color and partial highlights I got. Really thoughtful and caring Duo..will definitely come back.

Came in with badly damaged hair and Hugh took his time getting rid of as much damage as possible while keeping my hair long, per my request. He was very thorough and very gentle with my hair. I have long, thick and coarse hair - he added much needed layers. I live far away but will be coming back whenever I’m back in town. Thank you!!

I have been going to this salon for over two years since they opened, for both haircuts and dyeing my hair. I highly recommend this salon!! The salon is very clean and modern and comfortable. I am always satisfied with how Cindy brings out the color in my hair. Hugo specializes in dry haircuts which I always go back for. I always hear from other people “where did you get your haircut?” And I always recommend Jaya. Thank you Hugo and Cindy!

My wife got her haircut from Hugh Kim who is a master and pays attention to details. We have been going to the former salon for almost 15 years and am impressed with the interior changes and new talent! Thank you very much and good luck in Fort Lee. Addition from 3/17/18... I got my haircut by Cindy today and wow! 5+ stars. Fantastic job. Been getting my haircut in NY and Seoul for 20 years although I have been letting it get shaggy and let my wife cut it on occasion.
