I waited a while to write this review hoping that I will change my mind about my experience at Laboratory but unfortunately one month into my visit and I am still very disappointed. Although the staff was nice and welcoming and the atmosphere was great, my experience was not what I had hoped for. I spent extensive time looking online for several months and reading reviews before picking a salon for a first time hair color. Maria was great at listening and reassured me that she understands what I am looking for and made me feel comfortable. However, the results were nothing like what I had asked for. I clearly told her I want a long bob that hits the clavicles so I can still tie it up if I need to and I showed her pictures of the color I wanted. She cut the hair too long and started the color 4-5 inches from the roots. Then the assistant put the conditioner on the hair and washed the hair within 5 minutes of applying the toner. I noticed that they were rushing that night and the salon was almost close and I was one of the last costumers left. Bottom line the hair was too long and the toner came off after one wash revealing brassy hair. I called them and made an appointment within a couple of days. The second appointment we were still not able to get the cut I had asked for since I would loose 60-70% of the color if I went shorter. However, she did fix the color by applying the toner for the appropriate amount of time. Bottom line not worth $200 and 3 hours of my time. Not to mention all the disappointment.

I had a great experience! Alyssa did an amazing job! My hair is very thin and curly. Alyssa gave me a beautiful, easy to maintain, curly cut. I love how full my curls look with NO frizz. I am so happy I found Laboratory Hair Studio.

Such a wonderful, welcoming, professional atmosphere! The ladies at the desk were very nice. Katie, who washed my hair, was lovely and very knowledgeable about the products! Elyse couldnâ€™t have been sweeter! She gave me a wonderful cut and was very helpful in giving me tips to keep my hair healthy! I will certainly be seeing you all in a couple months for my next trim! Thank you all for taking such great care of me!

Christina is truly an artist. Any time I go to her with a vision or style the final product always exceeds my expectations. Her color work is also amazing. I tend to change my color quite often, and any time I do I always leave the salon with a â€œnaturalâ€ looking new color. It truly is mind blowing what she can do and how she transforms my hair. LOVE her!!

I was so pleased on my first visit to Laboratory Studio. They were very welcoming and the vibe was excellent. My husband had his hair cut by Elyse who has a talent cutting mens hair. No more barbers for him! Iâ€™m next and I canâ€™t wait.
