I first met Dara when she worked in a larger salon. As she moved to different salons, I moved with her. She has had her own salon for many years and I just love it. She is always on time with her appointments. She is excellent at making suggestions for what to do with your hair and she understands how comfortable or uncomfortable I am with different styles and the amount of time it may take me to do it at home. I have been coloring my hair for some time and now. The nicest complement I receive is when people are surprised to hear that my hair is colored. It always looks so natural that people cannot believe it has been colored. I would highly recommend Dara!

Can't say enough great things about Dara and her salon! It's comfortable and relaxing. Over the years I have had short/long/curly/straight/highlights/color and always get compliments, even from strangers. Best of all, Dara makes sure you get what you can manage. I'm not a blow dryer/straightener/curling iron type-she understands-so I get a great cut that never needs more than gel, scrunch, and go! She can do it all, casual, proms, weddings. I would never go anywhere else! You won't be disappointed!

I have been going to Dara at "Dara's Place" for over 30 Years and I have yet to be disappointed. Dara still attends Classes and Seminars so she is always keeping up with new styles and cuts. My daughter who is 19 also goes there and for both her Prom's Dara did her hair and it looked amazing! The Salon is always neat and clean! One of the many things I love about going to "Dara's Place" is that she runs on time! If I ever need a touch up or need something fixed I can walk right in and she takes care of it. Dara is one of a kind and I am so thankful I found her all those years ago!

I am a long time customer of "Dara" at Dara's Place. Dara does an outstanding job with cut, style and color. How do I know? I am often stopped while out and about by ladies asking me where I got my hair done. I've gotten used to making new friends! Dara stays current with all the latest styles by attending professional classes in NYC, when available. I notice that Dara listens to her customers wants/needs and provides professional feedback which result in the perfect "do". I am a forever customer.
