I walked over there for my scheduled appointment after work today to get a haircut. The place is iconic in every way! I felt historic walking there, sitting in the leather chairs, in the floor to ceiling mirrors bordered by think planks of wood. From its location across Carnegie Hall, to the service inside the salon, the place is sheer classy. No pun intended with the word sheer! Angie was my stylist and she totally got my complex hair; I have straight hair genes and curly genes all mixed up. Well worth the price of admission. Happy with result. Call to get an appointment.

A few months ago I started having my hair cut by Trisha at Fleischman’s on 56th and I’ve never been happier with how my hair looks. Trisha has it down to a science, she’s paid attention to, and remembered what worked after each visit and adjusted each time to make it look even better than the last. On top of that being in Fleischman is a really great overall experience....relaxing and friendly. Book with Trisha...you can’t go wrong.

Always went to NYC barbers, but when I started growing my hair a bit longer, they seemed incapable. Switched to a standard salon but wasn't really happy, so I figured, let me bite the bullet, pay a little more and give Fleischman's a try. Wow. What a difference when someone really knows what they're doing. Plus they really do a nice consult, help with ideas around product or maintaining your cut. And the atmosphere is a perfect kind of masculine setting. You don't have to feel like you're the only guy in a room full of women getting their hair dyed as you would in most other salons in NYC (which is one of the reasons so many guys go to a barber in NYC). Guys, bite the bullet and go to Fleischman. You need a change or you wouldn't be looking online. And Fleischman is a sure bet.

Not only did Gabriel style my hair better than ever had been done previously, she took the time to educate me on how to maintain the look I left with Knowledgeable, professional and an extremely comfortable environment Thank you Gabriel!!!

I always go to Trisha for my haircuts and have never been disappointed. All the staff at Fleischman are very professional and friendly. Plus, to top it off, you can have a beer or glass of whiskey while you get your haircut!
