Our son loves this salon. He asks to have his haircut because he knows he will be able to play the games. The waiting area is very child friendly and the receptionist is warm and pleasant.

Nancy has been cutting my children's hair for years now . Her patience and talent are out of this world . My children feel safe and comfortable with her and always leave with an excellent hair cut !

she's very disrespectful and unprofessional, will never come back to this place. After making an appointment for 5pm I was running 20 minutes late due to heavy rain and traffic, She said she couldn't cut my son's hair cause she had a 5:30 appointment coming in, but the salon was empty and no sign of the other client coming. She really gave me attitude and offered no solution. I walk out really disappointed....I've been there 2 other times with out appointment just walk in and she cut my son hair with no problem. I didn't really get her issue this time, I was willing to wait if the 5:30pm client got there. And to top it off as I was walking out the salon with my 3 boys in the rain, she said " good luck with the rain" SHE LOST A CLIENT FOR SURE👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

I normally don't leave reviews but after leaving this salon fighting back tears, I feel compelled to say something. My son turned one recently and he desperately needed a haircut. I found this salon online and after reading all of the great reviews I was really looking forward to going. I contacted the owner by e-mail and asked if she takes walk ins or apppointment only. This was a part of her response, "An appointment is strongly recommended during the week for after school hours and for the weekends." I was taking my son on a weekday in the morning and she recommened I make an appointment AFTER school hours or on a WEEKEND I walked in with my son and mother in law and was asked who my son was. I told her his name (I thought she was being playful with my son) but was told that there are two kids with appointments ahead of my son and we had to wait. I quickly went from excited to hurt. I thought I was being too sensitive but even my Mother in law said she said it in a way like we were not welcomed without an appointment. After 15 minutes my son started to fuss and I walked out fighting tears because I did not want to embarass myself in front of my mother in law or show my son I was upset. My mother in law took us to a nice barber shop called Eduardos in South Yonkers. We were welcomed with no appointment, taken in 5 minutes, and the women who did my son's hair, Martha, was lovely. So if you want to come here, MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. Doesn't matter what time or day, just make one. If the owner had told me that from the beginning then I would have done so. The place seems nice and clean. Decorations are cute and so are the toys. Just make an appointment and then you'll probably be welcomed.
