Have gone to this salon quite a few times when visiting the area, made an appointment for October 14, 2017 I had a wedding to attend I don't remember the stylist name I was paired with to do my hair she was very nice I asked her to blow dry my hair straight & then go over with the hot iron she blew my hair with volume & used a curling iron instead of flat iron I asked her why she was using curling iron & she apologized she made mistake I asked for only shine to be put in my hair as she proceeds to blow my hair it is becoming very frizzy I asked her why this was happening and she kept putting in these products to keep my hair flat finally it was enough my head was full of gook I got up went to the register & the manager asked me if everything was ok & I told her I was very disappointed & needed to be in Queens in an hour for a wedding & my hair was a mess she said let me get someone else to help you & I refused I did not have the time I paid & left I was very upset & she knew it. I left the salon and called her and asked her to have the owner call me she told me her name was Jean I paid $45 for the blow dry from hell ... I will never go to this salon again they are very unprofessional I was told by the manager that she would put in the computer not to pair me with the stylist I had I told her I have never had the same stylist twice they don't last long working there. I do not live locally but I do visit the area a few times a year and there is a salon across the street that is very good & much cheaper for a blow dry ! I am still waiting for a phone call from Jean.

I love, love, love Blo/ Greenvale! I have been going there faithfully for the past 4 years and I love it. The staff there are all so kind and friendly, and my hair always looks great when I leave!

Blo's staff could not be nicer or more accommodating. Every stylist I have used did a fantastic job. It's an easy in easy out experience without the front desk attitudes of some other salons in the area that will remain nameless. Props to Jean for creating a great place!!!
