We recently brought our 16 month-old son here for his second haircut; we were hesitant, as his first haircut at a barbershop when he was around 12 months old had been a pretty traumatic experience for him. We needn't have worried! They were extremely friendly when I called to make the appointment, and informed me in detail about the options available and techniques they employ for nervous babies and children. They reassured me that even if he screamed and cried, like some children do, that we could work together to get the job done. It turned out to be a great experience! The atmosphere was welcoming and fun, but not overwhelming. We were fortunate enough to have Caitlin as his Stylist, who was friendly, patient, and kind (not to mention speedy and efficient!) Our son enjoyed sitting in the police car chair and watching Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood on his own tv, and was sufficiently entertained and distracted from what Caitlin was doing. She gave him a fantastic, stylish haircut based on pictures I showed her of what we wanted, and frequently asked for feedback as she was doing the cut. She even used clippers, a feat I had thought impossible due to our previous experience elsewhere! The manager and the other stylist who was there were also very friendly and professional. The cut was under $20, and came with a large balloon, sticker, and lollipop. Well worth the price, and we were happy to tip generously. We will definitely be back, and will recommend this business to all of our friends!

Just got my daughters 1st hair cut by Tina.. awesome job she loved the experience and so did me and my wife! Highly recommend Tina!! Thanks for making this special for us

Had an appointment, still waited for 45 minutes. Never was treated when we entered and since we had never been there before, we didn't know we had to check in. Left and went to Super Cuts. They were great with my 1.5year old and we got right in and out! Sharkey's seems like a good concept, but the staff completely ruins it. Terrible, terrible service.

Our favorite hair cut experiences happen here. Sharkeys is the only place I'll bring my 3 boys for hair cuts and I recommend them to everyone.

If i could give them one star i would. I went in for my sons first haircut. I figured would drive the 1 1/2 because they specialize in childrens cuts but that was not the case. He needed to be cleaned up but she just kept asking me what i wanted. Rushed from the second we got in yet there was NO ONE waiting. It was a very stressful experience.
