I was hesitant to leave a review but I came in with dark brown hair that hasn't been touched in about 6 months as far as color and asked for a few highlights to add dimension. I was gearing towards golden caramel/honey. After the service was done, I noticed the color was all over but the salon was dim so I couldn't determine the turn out. She didn't offer to show me the back. My fault for not looking harder. I got home to my hair RED ORANGE and super uneven. The worse part that broke my heart was the it was FRIED! I have been keeping it healthy and it was pure straw. I contacted the stylist right away and she nice to offer to darken it up but I was so scared with how damaged my hair was! I went to another salon and luckily they fixed it so I was back to what I came with originally, a little more health from the hell it went through, but I had to cut off a few inches and now I am in recovery mode from how much my hair was damaged. Ive had highlights done many times but never had I gone through such an experience. Hate writing bad reviews but this caused me $75 to ruin my hair and then another $150 from another salon to repair and Im back to square one with hay like ends :((((

Had been to Strands Hair Studio yesterday for partial lowlights. Absolutely loved what stylist Tara did. Just by using a specific lightner for a specific time, I got the desired color. Surely, this is what experts like Tara, understand and do. I am definitely going there again for a full lowlights treatment soon.

They can give you a nice men's haircut without using a razor. Scissors only on these locks!

Donna is the best! I have been going to Donna for over 18 years! I always get compliments on my haircuts. I like to change things up once in awhile and Donna always comes through with a new look. My hair has been long, short, permed, highlighted and everything in between over the years. She always makes me look gorgeous. She did my hair when I got married which I was very pleased with. She has been a great friend to me and I will miss her when I move south.
